What a beautiful day this is going to be. Yesterday was brilliant sun, crystals hanging from the trees and the crispest, freshest air anywhere! As we walked along the ocean, we acknowledged that we all had really strong lungs now after being here for our third winter. We have adjusted to the clean air and our lungs rejoice in the full capacity we now have. Ah, Maine!!

I have just finished 3 hours of listening to Paul Parent’s Garden Club and got some great insights about preparing for this Spring. There is nothing that thrills me more than learning something new every day or gaining clarity on something everyday! That must be why I chose this family to be with, we learn and gain clarity in all our day on any possible situation that life brings to us. We love to “fractal build” – it is our family pleasure!

I have been on the search for some of the little-known seed companies in New England, for more information on suitable plants. I found on in an old issue of People, Places & Plants of New England ( a great NE magazine for gardeners, available at the Owl & Turtle!). The website is www.superseeds.com. I have not gotten my catalogue yet, but I loved the story of the owner who got off the grid and started this company out of his love of really good seed for the garden. Of course it has been a success story -–but very customer oriented with lots of female input – YES!

Our indoor herb garden is doing great, even with the –1 degree this am. The lemon verbenas are doing much better in this direct Southern exposure, rather than Western. But that is good to know for next year’s hibernation. We had a great reading on hibernation last night! Robert read about it from an email Karl had sent us for Groundhog Day. We had great fun with the information – which we built all kinds of stories off of – not fractals – more like tinkertoy building – and prayed none of us had nightmares from it as we went off to bed, early I might say!! We have been hitting the sack by 8-9 pm these last few days, feeling kinda achy at times

Su.Sane and Robert have completed two more pieces in their Mystic Doors series, Isadora Duncan and Claire of Assisi. They are beautiful works of art and have created great anticipation of the forthcoming pieces. The Hildegard piece was finished last week. The potentials of this show are expanding – fractal building – into an amazing body of work.

Now that I have moved to writing these entries via Word, I feel I will be able to write more. The Blogger format got a little scary for me, especially when I hit an unbeknownst key and lost everything – so this is the wonderful alternative!

I have entered four of Su.Sane’s Books of Raven now, and Robert will be putting them on the web soon for all to read. This series was written before any of us had been to Maine, but were in love with it already! It was our comfort and mainstay of our life there. Her passionate expression has made me even more aware of the love of this land that we moved here with, and have been healed with ever since. This is a series of nine books, all of which she will share on the web. What a woman!!

Yum, I smell bacon and french toast that Suzanne has cooked up for us……I think I’ll go eat. Be back later.
