WOW! It is a beauty out there. And its the WINTER SOLSTICE!! We must have gotten at least 4-5 inches of the great wet, makes big mounds on tree limbs kind of snow. Robert and Joseph have just used the snowthrower and we have clear paths out the doors and to the car. What a blessing they, and it, are. The yard is still beautiful AND we can safely get out of the house.

It really makes a vivid contrast to the rosemarys in my window. They are green and lush reflecting off the iced windows. Yum! The sun has now peaked through the grey sky and it will create a wonderland of the senses very soon.

There is much to do today as we prepare for the Solstice tonite and the holidays. We're headed out soon to finish our shopping for the season.
